Highly recommend the french toast. Best I've ever had. My son had a sausage and cheese omelette and said it was fantastic!

Waiter who nice. Overall the place was clean. I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the service was great.

Food great, servers cheerful but overloaded, waited over an hour after sitting for breakfast. Air Conditioning appeared out on a hot July day.

The food was something you'd be impressed with if you've never set foot in front of a stove, bacon was old greasy and dry, fried potatoes were the kind that come from a can, with pieces of raw onion in them, the French toast tasted burnt and the omelet had sliced cheese on it instead of shredded. The server was nice but the food is almost inedible.

Decided to try this place for breakfast instead of the other chain restaurants when visiting Cape. Great waitress who was very friendly & efficient. We had the pancakes & they are super size but, they tasted like they were burnt & then soaked in old grease. The bacon was nice & thick but you could tell it was old because it was really dry. I asked for scrambled eggs & couldn’t eat them, they were hard, flat pieces & dry. The other person got their eggs sunny side up & said they were good but didn’t run when you cut into them. The sausage patties weren’t bad. Probably won’t return based on today’s experience of the food.

Some of the best mom 'n pop diner food in town. Generous helpings at a fair price!You will not leave hungry or disappointed,for sure. Staff is friendly and give great service! Try this if you're tired of these blockbuster restaurants,then go to Sands for a better taste of Life!!

Delicious delicious delicious!!! Apparently I'm not a man anymore. I got the "Man size breakfast" and left a little boy with a togo box FULL of the food I didn't eat lol. The pancakes were huge, the potatoes and eggs were perfectly cooked. The server Leanne was great!!!

Weve been fans of Sand's for years. Best French Toast anywhere! Good food at great prices. We love this place. And the new location is so nice.

Their service was old fashion .I love it. Prices are crazy low for what you get. Best breakfast in Cape hands down. I was not expecting the pancakes to be almost a foot long... I had 3 of the giant pancakes, scrambled eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, a glass of milk and 2 normal size cakes for my son. It was $15. All homemade. You just can't beat it.

The food was very good, but I strongly disagree with the way they do business. They are a cash only establishment (shady) with an ATM inside with a $3 fee THEY choose to impose(shadier), in addition to your bank fee. We were not told about this prior (peak shadiness) and now have $8 in fees on my card. This is in place to cheat on tax amounts and screws over younger patrons who don't carry cash. Also if you don't Jesus, you'll feel pretty unwelcome. No swearing in this pancake hut. Two stars bc the food was good and our server was a very sweet lady.

Most expensive meal $8. Cash only, but they do have an 🏧. Window claims to have biggest cakes (pancakes) in town AND THEY DO! Every order is made from scratch, so it does take time to get your food but it is so worth the wait. Super friendly atmosphere and staff. Open daily 5am to 2 pm

A local gem. Sands has been open since the 50's I believe. The pancakes are gigantic and very tasty. Most meals are modestly priced. Usually you can pack your gut for about 6 bucks.

This was such a great mom and pop place to eat. Be sure to take CASH. They have an ATM but it was broken and so on my way out to go get cash and return, some nice gentlemen paid for our meal. The service was so friendly and the food was amazing. Opens early and was a great meal before finishing our cross country move.

I got M&M pancakes with a side of seasoned hash browns. I enjoyed the food thoroughly. The service was prompt. The environment was nice. Was there around 11 AM on Sunday and there was a wait but it wasn’t that long. They just needed to clear a table for two. It was a friendly atmosphere and was packed but not in a way that was overwhelming. I think if there had been a few more waiting people it woulda been cause there wasn’t really a place to wait. The food was nicely priced as well. I should have taken a picture of the menu to include as the one I found online was outdated with different prices. But my meal here was like $8-9 iirc.

Our favorite weekend place to all eat . They serve homemade style meals that are very delicious. Both breakfast and lunch is very good . Only down fall is to hope to get good service. Some are fantastic and others you may as well get it yourself because you will either wait a long time or wont get it at all .

Awesome as always!!! We had our oldest daughter & youngest (15 1\2 months old)Granddaughter w/us. Every time our Granddaughter took a bite she would say."yummy, or nummy". If that doesn't tell you how good it was, then I don't know what can. 😄😍😅

Sands Pancake House, is located in the cities South side. Not much in the way of cafes in this blighted part of town. However don't let the location keep you from enjoying this hidden gem! Comfort food is their specialty!Prices are $ reasonable, compared to the amount of food you'll be served. Small, but comfortable. Great waitress and she was hopping. She kept up with us all. 👍Loved the French toast!!!!

Food is freshly made. It is delicious and generous proportions. You can get take out or eat in. The prices are very reasonable. The personnel are upbeat and It is a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful waitstaff and speedy food. Good for the price but I was a little disappointed. My pancake had raw batter in the middle, which I'm okay with because that's how I like my pancakes, but others probably won't like that very much. Everything but my pancake was cold by the time I got it. But everything was clean and nice. Worth another shot, I think!

I finally found a nice little diner-type place downtown. Wednesday morning and full, what with every other table closed, but not packed.Quick service and lots of good breakfast. Where else in Cape is ham and 3 eggs with taters, toast and good coffee under 8 bucks?

Home cooked after ordered, friendly waitress. 2 o'clock stinks.

Small-town breakfast place that I really enjoyed. Only one waitress working and she was doing a killer job!!! Very friendly and checked in with us an appropriate amount of times. Hadn't even requested refills for coffee and water but she refilled them either way. Also, the food was delicious. I ordered the 'Man-Sized Breakfast' and it was a solid amount of great food. If you do not like breakfast food, they also offer burgers and other lunch/dinner food options after 10:30 am. They are open daily from 5 am to 2 pm. If I lived in the area, I would go at least once every week or two! Highly recommended.
